Creative Services For Children, Young People and Families
Our 1-1 Therapy Services
The Green House offers a range of evidence-based individual therapies (12 to 24 sessions) to children and young people up to the age of 18 who have experienced sexual abuse, living in Bristol, Bath and North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. All therapies can be accessed pre-trial – i.e., when a report has been made to the police and the criminal case is ongoing. Therapy Services are available at our centre in St Paul’s, Knowle West Health Park and online.
Our therapy service includes creative arts (art, drama, movement) and play therapies. We also offer talking-based therapies and Child Accelerated Trauma Treatment (CATT) which is a NICE guideline approved trauma-informed CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) approach. Young people age 14+ can access our therapy service online or remotely.
Our Family Support Service
Every child and young person who experiences sexual abuse deserves to access services when they feel ready and in a way that suits them. Our Family Support Team offer an Initial Meeting where we work together with young people and families to see what services can be offered following a request for support to the Green House.
