Ali Avery leads the Survivor Voice participation work at The Green House and is passionate about the place of community, connection and engaged social action in fostering wellbeing, and supporting young people to build the world they want to live in. She has worked with children, young people and families for many years in a range of settings, including mainstream and specialist schools, therapeutic provision and outdoor residential programmes, in roles ranging from youth and family support, creative facilitation, training and safeguarding lead. She is currently training in child psychotherapy at the Tavistock and Portman Institute and is also a trainee therapist under supervision at The Green House one day each week.
